I am an admitted Vegas nut, and after years of contemplating taking that “solo” trip to Sin City, I have finally given in to temptation and decided to do it. I have never gone to the movies alone, or even dinner by myself, so the idea of traveling across country solo should bother me, but in reality, I’m pumped.
I'll be staying at The Plaza Hotel and Casino off Fremont St. in downtown Las Vegas. Old school, blue collar Vegas, just the way I want it. Nobody telling me to stop gambling, when to sleep, stop drinking, what to eat, or where to be. It’s just me, my small bankroll, and old school Vegas. I’m pretty sure Ill be broke by 6 pm, and asleep by 8 the first night.

Re: Vegas For One? Sounds like a great trip, I have gone to Vegas many times including a few solo trips. I will put together a list of my URLs and send them to you. A couple of quick tips.Avoid renting a car. Taxi bills will be close to a weekend rental rate, plus no chance of a DUI. Not to mention traffic and parking is a nightmare.Downtown is not considered to be as safe as The Strip. I would try to stay on Fremont Street only after dark. (the street with a light show)
